KnK is always concerned with the situations of underprivileged children and youths in Asia. Every year, in addition to KnK's current areas of activities, three to four Exploratory Missions are planned in order to grasp current or emerging situations.

In 2006, KnK is planning its missions in Indonesia (regarding children in conflict with the law) and in India (regarding children who are forced into labor). Other missions in Bangladesh, Laos and Myanmar are currently under consideration.
