Ms. Jamila, a staff in KnK Jordan, has become an organizer to start a charity project named “5 Piastre Campaign” yesterday in Jordan, aiming to support Japanese children and youth in eastern Japan who got affected by disastrous earthquakes and Tsunami.

Ms. Jamila was visiting around the classrooms in the youth center and telling children about earthquakes and Tsunami. Then immediately students and instructors responded to her story and made a small donation to her project.

In Jordan, KnK has been offering various activities such as after-school activities or emotional education for children from impoverished groups, and to work as a bridge between Jordanian children and refugee children from surrounding countries to build a good relationship together.
For children and youth in Japan, please join “Yujo no GoEn Dama Campaign,” which means “Collecting 5-yen Coin Campaign for Friendship.”
