■Sports Festival (2010/2/23)

During 5 days of 16th to 20th Jan. 2010, the sports festival program was held in all of supporting villages in Asua, Shehangal, Laxmankathi, Jolabari and Kamarkathi. There was great program under the participation of each village leader, community government and Community Watch Groups (CWG). Community members and the children family also attended to see the festival.

Following Olympic game...

All of content on the program were decided within the meeting with social workers. Various programs was organized between grade 1 to 3 and boys and girls groups in education centre, including rope skipping, frog race, biscuit race and musical chairs. Children’s dancing was also performed in the program.

Activity participants widely spread not only students in children centre but also students in vocational training centre as well, on a discussion within social workers. They participated in the activities of candle race, musical chairs and cushion throwing game. In a combined game between students in education centre and vocational training centre made a precious opportunity for each of them to know each other.

After the all of activities finished, prizes were presented to the winners of each program. An appreciation from village leaders and other guests for organizing sports festival concluded the all program.
